Simple Ways To Exercise At Home without Exercise Equipment

It would be great to have a full range of gym equipment in your house, but it is also expensive. However, exercise equipment is not a prerequisite for losing weight and getting in shape.

Exercise is important so you need and can find exercises that are effective without requiring expensive equipment.

To make these exercises fun, play music while you’re doing them. Some you can even do while watching TV.

Below are some exercises that you can do at home, without the need for any equipment:

  • Bathtub Dips
  • Use the edge of your tub to do dips. You will be surprised at the results, I was.

  • Walking
  • If the weather is nice, get outside and either walk or jog. However, if the weather is bad, you can get a good walking workout at home. Go up and down the stairs repeatedly. This will help firm up your legs, while getting some cardio exercise in. However, if you don’t have stairs, just walk around the house for 20 minutes. It won’t be exciting but it will work.

  • Jumping Jacks
  • They are a great cardio exercise.

  • Pushups
  • Pushups may not be on the top of everyone’s list of exercises to do, however, they are extremely effective and can be done anywhere.

  • Leg Lifts
  • These are great for building up core strength along with muscles in your legs.

  • Crunches
  • This is a great exercise for building and strengthening your abdominal muscles.

  • Jog In Place
  • Jogging is a great exercise. You can jog in place at home while watching TV or listening to your favorite music.

  • Squats
  • Squats are a great exercise toning your legs and firming up your butt.

  • Light Weight Lifting
  • Instead of spending money on weights, why not try laundry detergent bottles or water jugs.

  • Dancing
  • Dancing is a great exercise for your heart and for burning lots of calories.

    Exercise is important. However, you don’t need to buy expensive equipment or join a gym. Use the resources you have in your house, and work out. You will be more likely to stick with it if you are in a comfortable surrounding.
