A Few Exercises You Can Do While Watching TV

Being a couch potato can be bad for your health, but if you love TV and still want to get a workout in, you can easily do it by trying out these exercises while watching TV.
If you have a treadmill, elliptical machine or a stationary bike that you are using as a clothes hanger, move it in front of the TV and start using it.
Walk in place, use dumbbells, an exercise band, an exercise ball, or steps.
This will allow you to burn calories instead of adding them.
Do lunges in place or lunge while walking around the room.
Squats can be done in place, or you can do it by squatting up against a wall in a sitting position using the wall as support.
Change your exercise routine regularly so that you don’t get bored and are more likely to stay with exercising for long term.
I exercise in front of the TV regularly. I use an exercise ball to do it. I figure that if I am exercising, I won’t get bored and start eating.
Being a couch potato does not have to be detrimental to your health and physical appearance. Just exercise and see the result.
